Wing Chun is a martial art that originated in southern China and has spread throughout the world, thanks to some of it's more famous personalities like Bruce Lee and Grand Master Ip Man.

 

Robbie had taught a Wing Chun class at the dojo for the last six years, He studied this art for a number of years whilst living in Taiwan, under Sifu (Teacher) Lo Man Kam, who is Ip Man's nephew.

 

With the sad passing of Robbie, we are fortunate to have Robbie's older kung fu brother, Sipak Bruce Chen, also teaching in New Zealand. He has agreed to oversee our training so that we can continue to advance in our learning. We have met and trained with Sipak Bruce and were all impressed with his knowledge and experience of Wing Chun,

 

Classes run on a Monday and a Friday and we currently have about 12 -14 students.
